I often find myself craving one of these Spicy Green Chile Margaritas around 5pm in the afternoon. Okay, maybe the craving actually starts at 4 (waiting to drink it until later just makes it that much more refreshing!) and maybe I end up having two when all is said and done. See if you can resist!
Our Green Sauce Green Chile Liqueur heats things up while you cool down and our ORANGE you glad to see me? small-batch triple sec perfectly balances the flavors in this absolutely perfectly summer cocktail.
And for the rim, which is as delicious as it is gorgeous, we combine Jillipepper's Hot Fiesta Pepper with sea salt.

RECIPE:
2 oz Your favorite Blanco/Silver/Plata Tequila1 oz Green Sauce Green Chile Liqueur
1 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz orange liqueur
1 TBSP Jillipepper's Hot Fiesta Pepper (for the rim)
1 1/2 tsp sea salt or kosher salt (for the rim)
PREPARE THE GLASS:
Mix 2 parts Hot Fiesta Pepper with 1 part sea salt (or Kosher salt) in a jar and shake it up to combine. Pour some on a small plate, rub rim of martini, margarita or coupe glass with a lime wedge and dip in pepper/salt mixture to coat.MAKE THE COCKTAIL:
Combine tequila, Green Sauce Liqueur, lime juice and orange liqueur in a shaker filled with ice and shake it up. Strain into the prepared glass.SALUD!
