I suppose I had heard of Brandy Alexanders, but I didn't know what one was until our friend, Cherie, shared that she had made one with our El Bombón 505 Cacao Liqueur and D'UVA 1 Brandy, and it was really yummy.
I happened to have some organic heavy cream on hand and fresh nutmeg to grate, so I made one and it became a star in my holiday cocktail lineup!
RECIPE:
1 oz D'UVA 1 Brandy
1 oz heavy cream
Nutmeg for garnish
Combine ingredients in shaker, with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a little ground or freshly grated nutmeg.
