Famed British chocolate company, Terry's of York, created the chocolate orange in 1931, and boasted that each chocolate orange was made with 22 cacao beans. Our Terry's 22 harkens back to that story, with the delicious combination of our El Bombón 505 cacao liqueur, freshly squeezed orange juice, and smooth agave spirit.
This is the second cocktail of our new cocktails featuring freshly squeezed orange juice*. For Terry's 22, we are juicing Cara Cara navel oranges, which have a beautiful, slightly pink color and a really luscious, sweet flavor that plays perfectly with the chocolate liqueur and smooth agave spirit.
Don’t worry, though, if you don’t have Cara Cara oranges (usually available in the US in stores from October until early May). This will be delicious with any freshly squeezed OJ!
*We use fresh orange peels to make our orange liqueur, and end up with lots of yummy oranges to juice!

TERRY'S 22 RECIPE
1.5 oz El Bombón 505 cacao liqueur
1.5 oz Agave Spirit
1.5 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
TO MAKE:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into martini or coupe glass. Garnish with a thin slice of fresh orange.
